Teta Chic (Teta: Arabic for grandmother) is a way of reconnection. My way of creating my own anecdotes about my grandmothers' in Egypt and balancing out the lost bonding time, love, support, unlimited food, knowledge and so on, due to being abroad. It is all about bringing them into my world, merging our personalities, and creating our own memories differently by upcycling their clothes that they shipped to me.

To teta Fadia and teta Zeinab- this collection is a tribute to you, a way of showing my love to you and bridging the gap between us.
