Painting and Printmaking

I am Almaha Nasser. A Qatari artist. I focus on theories of time travel, past, present, and future; drawing on Qatari culture and the past stories through a variety of narratives. I am interested in working with a wide range of media, from photography, painting, printing, and sculpture. I use multiple techniques in my artworks, however, I am more interested in photography, especially the old cameras from the 30s to 50s. I live with the memories I never had . I’m a collector of vintage objects from different places worldwide and look for the story behind each one . My artworks have been exhibited in AlHosh Gallery in 2019 and at the Fire Station at Al Markhiya Gallery in 2020.
