Herbal medicine (al-Tibb al shabi) is widespread in the Gulf, and medicinal plants and spices can be found in many souqs. However, the practice is fading away and has been replaced by Western medicinal practices and pharmaceuticals. "Alhaway" aims to inspire the younger Qatari generation to learn and value the cultural significance of traditional medicine by celebrating its healing power and prevent its extinction.“Meet My Friend, Herb” are flashcards that educate children about herbs and their functions. “Doctor's bag” is a doctor's sack that introduces five traditional herbs and their uses. I also created a series of five herbal kits, “Medicins Sack” using traditional packaging and pattern.
