Have you ever experienced art without seeing it? Inspired by visually impaired and/or blind people, Echoes in Other Senses focuses on translating different outcomes of memories into other senses, specifically through sound and touch. These memories are derived from personal interactions and experiences. Through the study of form and material, the memories were translated into 5 distinct outcomes. Each design consists of deconstructed objects that directly relate to the memory. Individuals participating in this study are encouraged to experience both ends of the spectrum, directly observing the life of someone who is able and  experiencing the life of someone who is visually impaired and/or blind.
