Zone 99 explores the changing landscape and architecture of different sites around Qatar. Through speculative explorations of the cultural identity of the 98 zones of Qatar, zone 99 offers an imaginary place that weaves together my personal impressions and childhood memories of place and time. The project uses design as a tool for cultural preservation with the goal of creating tangible objects and collectibles for contemporary audiences using new technologies.
